About Us
The Department of Economic-Social and Agricultural Extension Surveys was established in 1998. Most of the independent projects of this department are based on field research and are carried out at the village level by interviewing and completing questionnaires from farmers. Also, joint projects with other research departments are implemented in Mahidasht and Islamabad Gharb research stations. The Department of Economic-Social and Extension Agricultural Surveys has a close cooperation with the researchers of the Research Department and Extension Institute in the field of implementation of research-promotional projects and economic evaluation of the projects.
This department now has a faculty member in the field of agricultural economics, whose research is conducted by him.
Duties

Economic evaluation of research projects, carrying out joint research projects with other research departments, marketing research of agricultural products, investigating the effects of government policies on the agricultural sector, evaluating the efficiency of agricultural research, social economic studies in the agricultural sector and farm management
