Food security and the economic role of this sector in the business environment of the country is a subject of continuous importance in today's changing world, which not only has not lost its importance so far, but it is unlikely to see a sign of its importance decreasing.
Based on this, the need for continuous specialized research in agriculture (which experience has shown has never been a one-dimensional issue), the optimal and principled use of resources against what is considered a threat to the country's food and employment today, dealing with diseases and pests that Day by day, they become more resistant to methods and drugs, finding ways to maintain and use natural resources properly for future generations, research in science, economy, culture, market, agriculture, etc. It has become vital.
For this reason, the official agricultural research system, which today is known as agricultural research and education and natural resources, was established more than a hundred years ago as an inevitable necessity, so that by introducing new agricultural and horticultural varieties, Finding ways to fight agricultural pests and diseases, Knowing the destructive factors of natural resources, Soil and watershed management and exploration in agricultural culture and economy, find a way to continue food security, economic life, agricultural prosperity and protection of the God-given resources of this land. In this way, whatever is called rapid climate change, drought and water shortage, inadequacy of traditional agricultural methods, effective and preventive fight against diseases and pests, etc., all of them are not the result of specialized research in this field. show On the other side of these threats-opportunities, the application of research findings and achievements is seen as the complementary link of this process. There is no doubt that not transferring these achievements to the target community, including: farmers, experts, etc., destroys the justification of the necessity of this process and it is necessary to use a specialized department to carry out this important activity. In the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center, this task has been assigned to two agricultural Education centers in Kermanshah and Sarpol Zahab Agricultural Education Center. The two mentioned centers with decades of experience in the implementation of specialized agriculturalEducation with the help of the researchers of the Kermanshah Agricultural Research and Education Center are the executive arms of this center in the field of agricultural Education and the transfer of research findings and achievements that have departments Specializations such as in-service Education for employees, Education for agricultural operators, applied scientific Education, and Education for associate students are performed in this branch.
In this way, Kermanshah Agriculture and Natural Resources Research and Education Center, relying on the mission that has been set for it, is trying to use the power of its researchers and experts and carry out the required specialized research and by understanding the complex puzzle of the influencing climatic and economic variables- The culture of the agricultural sector, while providing solutions to face threats with the goal of food security of the country, tries to be effective in the food security and prosperity of the country's economy by reforming and modernizing the conventional methods in production and providing protection of natural resources.
